Co-op Connections: Naifeh's Steakhouse of Guymon
TCEC members who present their Co-op Connections membership card at Naifeh’s Steakhouse in Guymon when ordering can buy one appetizer and get one free.
“My dad said this, ‘Good food. Generous portions. Fair prices,’” said Katrina Naifeh-Akers, who owns the family run restaurant along with her son Eric Bauer.
Katrina’s parents started the business 38 years ago. Both have passed on now but their legacy lives on.
“Nobody cooks but the people whose name is on the sign,” Katrina said.
In addition to traditional offerings like hand cut steaks, homemade soups and salads, the restaurant offers some Lebanese dishes as that is the Naifeh family heritage.
She said customers can choose from steaks, seafood and burgers. Their chicken strips are hand breaded and many dishes come with a trip to the salad bar as well as a side item.
Members should follow Naifeh’s on Facebook to see what their Wednesday night special is as it varies weekly.
Katrina mentioned the restaurant also caters events and meetings.
She praised her longtime loyal staff members who work hard to help make meals delicious and enjoyable for everyone.
